Job SummaryReporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Regional Director of Operations is responsible for the overall management of all Breezeline systems in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and South Carolina including:
Field OperationsMaintenanceAssociate SatisfactionCommunity and Government relations Direct reports include Technical Operations, Construction Directors and Managers.
The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for ensuring optimal customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and profitability, of assigned areas.
The Regional Director of Operations is involved in all aspects of the deployment, growth, and operations of all services and products for residential and business customers in the region.
The selected individual will also implement change management strategies and plans that maximize customer Net Promoter Score (NPS), improve colleague engagement as measured by employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS), and increase efficiencies.
They will work closely with the corporate and regional Sales and Marketing Teams, the corporate and regional Finance Team, and the Customer Care team.
Responsibilities Planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of a regional cluster of systems.
Increase and maintain system customer satisfaction by implementing processes to exceed standards in plant health, customer service, and technical operations.
Maintain excellent plant health and ensure timely execution of node splits and plant upgrades, plant extensions, and delivering capital projects on time and on budget.
Continuously seek ways and opportunities for operational and customer improvement and operating efficiencies, along with actively participating in the implementation of these initiatives.
Work closely with and support residential and business sales and marketing teams to ensure the region is meeting subscriber and revenue growth objectives.
Consistently and efficiently communicate and promote company objectives and share KPI trends with all associates.
Communicate and maintain the flow of information between the Corporate Office and front-line associates.
Effectively manage system operations in order to maximize subscriber and cash flow growth while minimizing capital and operating expenses.
Assist in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets for the region.
Ensure high levels of colleague satisfaction with periodic feedback sessions and actively engage in colleague relations, training, development, and accountability.
Promote and ensure that all safety training and policies are being followed.
Maintain full awareness of the competitive footprint, including initiatives and offers; Analyze and report on data, recommend competitive responses to any potential and existing competitors.
Maintain favorable relations with local franchise authorities, as well as with State and Federal officials and agencies.
Monitor competitive franchise awards to ensure competitor franchises have similar terms and conditions as incumbent franchises.
Research and maintain awareness of federal, state and local subsidies for broadband deployment.
Assist in the preparation of applications for broadband deployment subsidies and grants.
Represent the region and take a leadership role in community affairs, including participation in civic organizations and community events.
Complete special projects as needed.

Leadership ResponsibilitiesCarry out all management responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws/regulations, including interviewing, hiring, training, monitoring, and coaching, along with planning, assigning, and directing work.
Responsible for performance evaluation, recognition, disciplinary action, and termination.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
In addition, set forth below is a non-exhaustive list of requirements that are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this position.
Bachelors degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a managerial role for a fiber, broadband, cable, or telco system or large department preferred.
Excellent presentation and communication skills Extensive overnight travel is required.
Demonstrated record of setting challenging goals, working hard, and leading and motivating colleagues to do their best.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and handle multiple projects and tasks effectively.
Proficiency with software applications including Google G-Suites, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
Knowledge of general accounting principles.
Knowledge of marketing and competitive strategies.
Requires a valid drivers license and a good driving record.
